What do I need to bring to my Stone Harbor or Avalon summer rental? Do you supply sheets and towels?
You will need to bring sheets, towels and beach towels as only a few of our properties provide linens. Be sure to check your lease, check the property description on our website, or call me. If convenient, you can bring them with you from home. If you prefer to rent your linens, you can get information, including a price sheet, on rental of towels, linens, and just about anything else you may need for the beach at Relax Concierge, a reputable linen rental company on the island. The individual owner of your vacation rental will supply pillows and blankets for all beds.
All of our rental properties come equipped with the basic kitchen necessities for the maximum number of tenants. You will need to bring bed linens and bath towels (and beach towels!). You may want to pack some video and board games for the kids, boogie boards, and sports gear for tennis, golf, roller blading, and maybe your bikes – or you can rent bikes at Harbor Bike & Beach.
Are beach tags included with my rental?
Usually NOT. Some owners do still provide them as a courtesy to their tenants, but because the tags begin to disappear midway through summer, most of our owners have discontinued providing beach tags. Consider beach tags a bonus if your owner does happen to provide them. Beach tags may be purchased on the beach or at the appropriate municipal building.
Can we pay by personal check at check in?
All rental payments should be paid in full 30 days before you check in. On last minute rentals, payment must be made by bank/cashier’s check or with cash or credit card.

Can we bring our pets with us on vacation?
NO pets are permitted in any property. There is a severe problem at the shore with sand fleas – something we’re sure you don’t want to subject your pet to. The tenant vacationing after you may have a pet allergy, and you certainly wouldn’t want to ruin their vacation.
Where and when do I pick up the keys to my vacation rental home?
Once we receive your final payment, we will send you your check-in information. Check-in time is between 1pm & 5 pm on Saturday and keys are picked up at our office at 2997 Dune Drive, Avalon. If you are going to be later than 5pm or are not checking in on Saturday, please call us ahead of time at 609-967-3001.
Will my vacation rental have Internet access?
Many of our properties do have Internet connectivity, but be sure to check the property description for your specific rental. Virtually all libraries on the island offer high speed Internet, as do many cafes and restaurants.
Additional Rental Notes
Even with a cleaning service, tenants are responsible for leaving the property clean. Please vacuum and remove all food from the refrigerator and cabinets. Put furniture back in its original location. Please leave the property as you would like to find it. The homeowner will assess a charge to your security deposit if additional cleaning is required.
